Our Approach

Integrative Resource Network (IRN) is a space for mental health professionals to expand and transform their therapeutic practice through an integrative lens. We aim to inspire and empower clinicians with well-rounded, trauma-informed, experiential trainings that are grounded in research and shaped by years of first-hand experience with complex cases. At IRN, we define an integrated therapeutic experience as trauma-informed, experiential, and relational, qualities that, when thoughtfully woven into treatment, foster deeper and more lasting change for clients. Our live and on-demand trainings, many offering CEs and EMDRIA credits, downloadable toolkits, and consultation all reflect this holistic approach to learning and clinical growth, inviting you to explore resources that support both personal and professional transformation.

A Venn diagram of Integrative Resource Network's three pillars: Trauma Informed, Relational, and Experiential

Trauma Informed

Being trauma informed is more than just the identification and assessment of the varying big T and little t traumas that people experience throughout life. It also implies a foundational understanding of the body’s threat response system.

Experiential

Learning is best integrated when it is based in firsthand experience and observation. As clinicians, we know that opportunities to practice new skills leads to a more comprehensive learning experience—we bring this concept to our work with clients, and in our work with our fellow clinicians.

Relational

We are social creatures. On a biological level, we are wired for connection. Interruptions to our most sacred relationships influences how we learn to show up in the world.

Trauma is relational; healing is relational.
